Music Ministry

       Our music ministry is directed by Frank & Bonnie Daugherty. We endeavor to have the music ministry follow the Scriptural admonition in Colossians 3:16-17: "Let the Word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father." (NAS) At Eastside we promote congregational singing of praise songs, contemporary Christian music, and hymns as well as give opportunities to those who play instruments to give glory to God through their music. Here are some opportunities where you can plug in and be apart

Children’s Mission Programs   

      The Wednesday night program is for children from age 2 thur 6th grade.  They learn about people and life around the world through the eyes of missionaries.  Playing a game from China, learning sign language or making a Mexican snack might be done to relate to the Missionary story on any given night.

      They learn how to share Christ and plan their own Mission projects. When? Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Jail Ministry

      Eastside Baptist Church is active in the Dickson County Jail Ministry.  Some members  teach classes regularly at the jail.

Youth Ministries

       Our youth ministry is is being led by Tate & Nikki Lee and Roy & Tanya Williams.  Our youth stay active year round and attend many functions.  Lock-ins and fellowships are held periodically in addition to our regular activities.  Listed below are just some of the events our youth take part in:
